Coca-cola & mcdonald’s fifa world cup activation

How do you connect super fans to their favorite team if they can’t be there in person? You give them a place and space to shout their fandom for the world to see. We created the Shout & Share a Coke sweepstakes at McDonald’s bringing to life the FIFA World Cup—one of the world’s biggest properties—with two of America’s most beloved brands. Even though the US didn’t qualify, fans stayed in the game using one of 32 specially-designed Coca-Cola cups to cheer on their favorite team from anywhere in the world, and a chance to be there in person.

Included in this work was national restaurant activation with brand, concept, and cup design, and a sweeps-driven microsite with mobile/social/tech integration.
